Focused on CDISC Implementation

Call for Manuscripts

September 30, 2021

Clinical Data Interchange Standards Consortium (CDISC) and the Journal of the Society of Clinical Data Management (JSCDM) invite scholarly articles reporting innovative implementations of CDISC standards in clinical research, real world data, observational studies, academic research, public health, and registry settings.

The articles will be featured in a special, CDISC-focused edition of the Journal, which will consist of approximately eight to ten peer-reviewed papers, 1,000–4,000 words in length. Types of articles considered will include original research, design manuscripts, case studies and demonstration project reports, as well as consensus and opinion papers on the use of CDISC standards for regulatory submissions and in real world data settings.

Interested authors are asked to submit a one-page article summary proposal, via the JSCDM website by November 12, 2021.  Guidelines on manuscript preparation and submission are posted on the JSCDM website.

We will notify selected authors to submit a fully expanded manuscript by December 10, 2021, with a submission deadline of February 18, 2022. A peer-review group will evaluate all articles and provide feedback to selected authors.

Timeline:

  • Article summary proposal (one-page)                        November 12, 2021
  • Article acceptance notification                                    December 10, 2021
  • Completed manuscript submission                            February 18, 2022
