The mission of JSCDM is to promote and publish scholarly work with direct relevance to the practice of clinical data management and clinical data science. This would not be possible without the thoughtful and dedicated work of our professional and scientific reviewers. We recognize that peer review editorial work takes time out of an already busy day; however, it remains the single best way to assure the articles published in our journal are of the highest quality and relevant to professionals designing, conducting, and reporting clinical studies. Implicit within the mission of providing cutting-edge, scholarly work to the membership of the Society for Clinical Data Management is a desire to extend the reach of the Society and its scholarship to the entire biomedical research community. A quick review of the journal’s first-year metrics suggests this goal was easily achieved. With 18,026 views and 6,300 downloads of our inaugural-year articles, JSCDM is well on its way to establishing itself as the biomedical research community’s authoritative resource on data management, informatics, and data science in clinical research.

We wish to recognize and offer a special thank you to our peer reviewers for 2021:
