Biography
Reza Rostamiis an Associate Director at the Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) where he has served since 1996. His professional expertise includes quality assurance,clinical data management, clinical trials outsourcing and vendor management. Prior to his distinguished career at the DCRI, Mr. Rostami supported physiological data modeling at the Duke Engineering Research Center. He has served SCDM as an author of Good Clinical Data Management Practices (GCDMP) chapters, as a co-chair of SCDM’s Academic Taskforce, a member of the SCDM Board of Trustees, and the SCDM Board Liaison for the Japan Steering Committee.
Mr.Rostami holds a BSE in Biomedical Engineering and an MBA both from Duke University.
He is a Certified Clinical Data Manager (CCDMTM) and also maintains Certified Regulatory Affairs - US (RAC), Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB), Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), and Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credentials.
