Biography


Mr. John Nevy is a Director and Therapeutic Area Head within Global Drug Development for Bristol Myers Squibb. A research scientist for more than 30 years, John has extensive experience in clinical operations and clinical data management at a variety of biopharmaceutical, medical device, and academic research organizations including Quintiles, Covance, Novartis, Teva, GSK, Terumo Interventional Systems, the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Fox Chase Cancer Center. John is an expert in clinical operations, clinical project management, and in the development and application of computerized systems in clinical research. He has experience in performing and/or managing nearly every aspect of the clinical research enterprise and in every phase of pharmaceutical development (I – IV) as well as diagnostic and interventional device development. He has been a guest lecturer on clinical research topics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, Eli Lily & Company, Biorasi, and Bristol Myers Squibb. He was a contributing author to the Drug Information Association’s (DIA) book on best practices for computerized systems in clinical research and has given invited lectures at numerous clinical research conferences including DIA, CBI, and MAGI. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Applied Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).
